The place is really quiet without being far from the city. The beach is close and nice.

The people of the hotel are charming and the location is great, very close to the beach and the centre. Also, it has a pool where you can relax in the afternoon.

Great location, only about a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to town. The pool area was very peaceful and breakfast was amazing! Staff were very helpful and kind. I would stay here again ☺️

Really beautiful small hotel, quiet, close to the beach, variety of breakfast choices with friendly service, nice design, great pool where you can also swim a bit, mosquito nets in front of the doors, good room temperature due to AC and ventilation.

I look forward to coming back to this hotel one day already! We stayed four nights in hotel Tierra Mia and it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and light, the bed comfortable and so were the pillows. Good shower too, which is not always a given in México. Then the absolute highlight of the hotel: the beautiful garden with the pool. It was very peaceful, like the rest of the hotel. You are close to the town, yet the hotel is very quiet. You are also only steps away from the stunning beach. So location wise it's also just perfect! Breakfast isn't elaborate, but good. On the last day we had to leave in a hurry for the ferry, and the lady was even kind enough to pack the breakfasts for take-away. All in all very pleased, I would definitely recommend if you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing, well-located yet peaceful hotel on Holbox!

“Relaxed place with delicious breakfast”

Very tasty breakfast, pleasant atmosphere with clean pool surrounded with palms and comfortable sunbeds around it. Rooms are very clean and we really like the interior design. Location is good combo of everything - 10 min walk to the town centre, few steps from the sea and 10 min with bike from Punta Mosquito.

Peaceful and very close to the best beach.

Lovely quiet room, beautiful garden with loungers, hammock, nice staff. A good location as it’s near the beach and reasonably close to town, but still very quiet. You can walk via beach, inner beach road or another street in 10 mins. Dont stay in centre of town if you don’t like noise.

The staff at this hotel MADE our whole whirlwind stay in Holbox. From the first contact by WhatsApp to check in with us about when we were arriving, to looking after our every request for a tour or booking a golf buggy - even sorting out our transfers back to Cancun whilst we were out swimming with whale sharks. Having the pool is perfect to cool off after a busy time exploring. It was good value and walking distance to everything you could want to do without paying a fortune for being on the beach or right in town. We wouldn't have had nearly the experience we had without the help of the staff at the hotel.

The location feels like a hidden paradise, peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The room and overall atmosphere perfectly match the relaxing vibe of the place. A truly calming and refreshing stay.

I liked pretty much everything about this hotel. The location was quite good, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was very nice. We loved the breakfast staff, which was super friendly.

I stayed at Tierra Mia in January of 2024 arriving in the middle of a mid hurricane - the island was awash with water and yet - I was safe and sound and dry at Tierra Mia for the first night! It was my first time to Holbox and the staff were so kind, informative and fun so when I was planning a return visit in 2025 with a friend I just decided to return to where I felt, welcome, comfortable and safe! It's a beautiful small family run hotel with great design and a lovely vibe. Perfect location to the best beach just 3 mins away and close enough to town that it's quiet at night but close enough to walk to restaurants etc. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Will be back next year!

Good customer service, lovely premises, very comfortable and clean rooms. The pool area is great, the perfect complement to a trip to the beach, which is only 2 minutes away. The breakfast menu has lots of options and its served to you restaurant-style.
