Wonderfull accommodation, set on the seafront in a quite area. Well kept place, clean, and with everything to make our stay easy and comfy. We cooked our breakfast and lunches in the good equipped kitchen, after watching beautiful serene sunsets we strolled along the beach short distance to town to explore and have our dinner in one of the many restaurants. 5 days of bliss.

Was very impressed by this boutique hotel. It is very well located on a quiet part of the beach, about a 5 minute walk to the edge of the town centre. Some good restaurants and bars are a stone's throw away. Having the private loungers on the beach was great and the sargassum was minimal. Having amenities such as aircon, coffee and drinking water in the room was great and the room we had on the second floor was very private and well designed. For the price, this place was great - there are some high end hotels on the island but, really, there is not much more you could want than a nice, large room on an absolute beachfront which Casa takywara provides.

Beautifull place to stay if you visit Holbox. Withing walking distance of the village and the breakfast which is not on site, is also just a 4 min walk from the hotel. So that was no problem at all. The sunbeds on the beach are only for guests, so every day we had sunbeds on the beach. From there you have an amazing view to see the sunset.

We really enjoyed the property and the secluded beach nature it had! We really loved that it wasn’t in the center of town so it was more quiet and right on the beach front.

This was definitely the best location for a stay on holbox if you like quiet and tranquility. The beach was clean and no loud music. The facilities were comfortable and well thought about. Spotlessly clean and stunning.

Very spacious and bright apartments with a great ocean view, located in a quiet area about a 15-minute walk from the island’s center and main beach. Well-equipped kitchen with a small fridge. Comfortable bed. The property is very well maintained, with private sun loungers on the beach. The host is very friendly and helpful. Good fresh breakfasts are served at a beach café about 300 meters away along the shore. The island has a reliable taxi service, and the ferry–hotel ride costs only 150 pesos. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, which is great for avoiding mosquitoes — there are lots of them on the island.

Right on the beautiful beach on a quiet part of the island, but walking distance (8 mins) to the center. Very spacious room with 2 comfy beds. Great shower. Fan and airco.

“A wonderful stay!”

We had a wonderful time at Casa Takywara. The hotel is great to suit a very quiet time away, it’s at the part of the beach away from most things but is a short distance to the hustle and bustle of the town. The reception staff were very accommodating with helping with extra amenities and activities such as cocktails and ordering breakfast (which was quite average but very convenient) and helped with organising massages in the room. Overall we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the penthouse apartment, it’s very large and is so beautifully furnished. It felt like home after 9 days!

This property was in a beautiful location - so peaceful this side of Holbox and it was like we had a private beach. So relaxing! The hammock on our balcony and beach loungers were very comfortable.

“Beautiful beach refuge away from hustle&bustle”

Nicely settled quiet place at a stone throw from the beach. Carefully decorated and well equipped room. Drinking water baloon, coffee and beach towels highly appreciated. Calm and quiet. Staff smiley and efficient, communication flawless. Good wifi reaching the beach area.

Gorgeous room, very clean and comfortable. Right on the beach - about a 90 second walk from room to beach chairs! At the quieter end of the beach in Holbox - which was great, but it did mean in low season it was a bit of a walk to find anywhere to eat. Staff were lovely, very friendly but not intrusive.

this hotel is located at the most beautiful beach of Holbox, it is a quite and peaceful place with very little people on the beach. It is like you have a private beach and it is only 10minutes away from the more busy part of the island. it is like a little paradise. you have access to the beach directly from your room.

“Great location, laidback vibe, great base for Holbox adventures!”

Located right on the beach and a really pretty part of the beach. Laidback feel with lovely decor perfect for our family of four. Loved the doorstep breakfast drop! Recommend getting one of the taxis from the ferry as we walked (15 mins) and got very hot! The sunset from the beach is stunning!

“Super relaxed Casa in a beautiful location”

Casa Takywara is located just outside the town, where the beach is wider, and less crowded. Within ten minutes of walking on the beach you’re in te middle of town. The place is just great the staff is great, the rooms are nice, and even the dreaded mosquito’s all the reviews were talking about seem to be absent. At night the bio-luminescent algae were in the sea right in front of the house. We had a truly wonderful time at Casa Takywara, and on Holbox, wouldn’t hesitate a second to go back.
