The house has super positive energy, we felt like at home. The owner is very responsive and helped us with transport, tours and recommended some of the best restaurants on the island. The kitchen is fully equipped, beds are very good, and each room has its own bathroom. Also racoons in the night were great fun for the kids. Even the cactus on the terrace bloomed during our stay. We loved it.

Incredibly stay in Casa Cacahaute! More than enough space for 4 people (2 bedrooms with en suites), aircons and necessary amenities to make food at home. Bottled drinking water is also provided. Nice and quite in the Holbox neighbourbood. 5min walk from the beach, 2mins to a small convenience store, 3min to a fresh fruit and veg market. The management team was amazing from day one. Great communication and always happy to help with arranging transport to/from Cancun, booking local tours, helping with booking taxis etc. They were always available and responded quickly on any queries. Big thanks to Marian for her great restaurant recommendations and Karen for helping out so much. Can definitely recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back again one day.

The house is so gorgeous and spacious! We had the best showers here of all the stays we had in Mexico. Elena is really friendly and helpful. There is nothing you miss in the house. We think it is even better than you see in the pictures.

Very nice house in a quite street on Isla Holbox. There is a big terrace with hammock and both rooms have an en-suite bathroom. The host was very friendly and always reachable via WhatsApp.

We loved how quirky the property was! It was also in a decent location that was quiet but still close to the main area and beach.

The house is beautiful, well equipped and spacious for 4 people. Roof terrace is also really nice. Location is great, 5 min walk to restaurants and beach. Elena is a great host, here recommendations were spot on. We rented bikes for our stay, which i can warmly recommend. We had a perfect time.

Elena is very friendly and caring. She greeted us upon arrival and shared all necessary information and answered all the questions. She was extremely helpful with her advices about what Todo on the island. Location: 5 min walk from city centre and quiet beach. House: extremely spacious for 2 people. perfect for 3-4. Clean. Comfortable bed. Has everything we needed (incl. drinking water)

First of all: Elena is the perfect host. She is very helpfull and we benefited lots of following her tips. ❤️ Second: The house is amazing. And perfect for anyone that want to stay close to the beach and centro, and still be in a quiet area. Its as beautiful as in the pictures. Our family loved the place. Regarding puddles and electricity: the entire island is like walking back 50-100 years. So the infrastructure is not up to date. Meaning that the electricity sometimes is out for a short period of time. And when it rains, there are puddles in the street. And guess what: THIS MAKES ISLA HOLBOX EVEN MORE PERFECT!!! Being there is a dream. A place to de-stress and and re-arrange your priorities. We have been in Mexico several times and travelled around. Isla Holbox is the most perfect place ever. We will for sure come back. And there is NO PLACE we would rather stay then Casa Cacahuate.
