The atmosphere is so friendly, there are only up to 6 beds in each room and the rooms are very spacious with very very comfortable beds. For a location this is exactly what you need!! Close to the sea, exactly 4 minutes from the center but not noisy either. Rare!! Honestly I didn't want to leave and extended my stay twice

Spacious dorms with good beds, curtains, sockets, reading light - everything you need really. Spotlessly clean. Lovely common area with many hammocks. Good breakfast and friendly staff. I was super happy and would have loved to stay longer!

The property is humble and lovely, and above all it is very welcoming feeling like being with a family & friends. I stayed in a mixed room and the people were absolutely respectful with noise and privacy. The long term volunteers, Katy and Seoul are amazing and always there to help and to give advice about the island, and we also shared meals and walks together, which it has been a great memory . The manager of the property, Fede, is always there to welcoming you with a big and friendly smile. Also there is the opportunity to do your laundry there as well lots of activities. I highly recommend to stay here, for short or longer term, and at any stage or age you are 😉. I stayed here for 4 nights and decided to extend for 4 more nights. I believe the vibe of the hostel boosted my decision to stay longer on the Island too. Peace & love 🌸

“Cozy and small hostel”

- great location - amazing staff!! (Saúl & Felipe & Kata and just everyone) they are so friendly and welcoming and creating the vibe of friendship and family. It‘s so easy to meet people because they are including everyone - cozy common area - included breakfast makes it easier to meet people as we all kinda meet at the same time

“So glad I chose to stay here”

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Saul took me fishing. Felipe cooked the best breakfasts. Sara was so warm and communicative. The towels were good quality and large! Bunk bed was comfy and showers were hot. Lots of lovely garden plants in containers around the communal area that also has three hammocks. I had a very good time at Barco Verde especially as the other guests were so sociable. I really enjoyed the group bike rides in the early mornings and evenings to see sunrise and sunset at each end of the island. the bike hire shop is just around the corner. There is a large supermarket nearby where you can get all you need and Barco Verde has shared fridges for your food. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby plus a short walk to the beaches. My laundry was washed very quickly. You can easily walk to Barco Verde from the ferry terminal. I really recommend Barco Verde for solo travellers of all ages.

“Cute hostel 2 mins from the beach”

Small and cosy hostel 2 min from the beach. The female dormitory was big and there was plenty of space for my stuff and luggage, the bed was comfortable and I loved the curtains so you can have some privacy. The rooms are cleaned daily so the bathroom was spotless. Cool common area with a chill vibe. Good breakfast.

The volunteers at the Hostel, Fedde, Sara, Saul, Monsee were superb, as was the rest, but I cant remember the names. Very friendly atmosphere , felt more like friends than strangers. Great breakfast, simple but good portion! I'll definitely be back again just to say hi to these guys!!

The hostel has a great location in the city centre, close to restaurants, bars, the supermarket and the beach. Nice and cozy atmosphere in the courtyard, perfect to eat there or just chill. The staff is a big part of making the atmosphere feel welcoming. Rooms are quite big and functional. A nice breakfast is included. Overall, I would recommend staying there!

It was amazing here. Everything felt familiar here. I got to know nice people here. Hostel staff was super nice. The beach is very close. It was also very clean. Breakfast was nice.

This hostel truly feels like a big family. The staff is absolutely exceptional – always smiling, caring, and genuinely happy to help with anything you need. They constantly make sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of. The place is super chill and very well equipped. You have access to drinkable water, A/C at night, great showers with strong pressure, and a really good breakfast to start the day. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for both resting and connecting with other travelers. You instantly feel at home here, and it’s the kind of place that makes you never want to leave.

A small calm hostel; so it’s very easy to make new friends! And super clean!

Good-natured personel and easy-going, homy, vibes! Sailor's best friend! Daily activities! But first, coffee!

The vibe was just super chill, everyone talked to everyone and it was super easy to meet people. The Location is amazing, close to the Beach and the Center and there are always dogs Running around.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Everyone who works there is super nice and helpful, the breakfast is amazing and Jen is great! I‘ll come back for sure!! Thanks for everything 🫶✨
