The atmosphere was great, and the host was very friendly and gave us some tips where to eat and what to see. We loved hammock a lot. The location is good, the room was clean and tidy.

Excellent budget option in Holbox - don't look elsewhere! The room was quite big for two people and the bed was huge! We loved the location, just a 15 min walk from the ferry and only two blocks from Holbox beach, as well as the center with restaurants and bike rentals. t's also midway between Punta Mosquito and Punta Cocos, just about a 10 min bike ride. The highlight though was the staff, extremely kind and always available to help! Thanks a lot Nacho and Luis :)

“Nice and comfortable stay on Isla Holbox”

It was a nice and comfortable stay, within walking distance of the center. The air conditioning worked well and was definitely a need.

Nice and quiet hotel with all the facilities you need (kitchen, own bathroom, etc) The garden is nice and clean and a great place to chill.

I loved the personality of this place. It feels more like you’re getting a feel of the local culture than if you stay at a resort. The art on the walls is beautiful, the room is comfortable and clean, the people are lovely, and I loved lying in the hammock just outside my room. My favourite moment was when the older man who works there came over to where I was on the hammock and made me a little bird woven from a pond frond.

We had a lovely time at Mayas Rooms. „Nacho“ the owner was a special guy who made our stay so lovely. He arranged the boat tour with good price, was always kind and wanted to make the stay as good as possible. His dog, Carmen (the housekeeper) and her son made created a lovely surrounding and a homefeeling. best recommandations.

The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is big and tidy, and they cleaned the room during our stay so it was clean and nice the whole time. Also the room is airconditioned and there is a fan available as well. And last but not least, outside is a very comfortable area with hammocks.

Basic comfy, clean chalets with cute art throughout. Basic shared kitchen (and hammocks) with a 'family' feel. Hosts are laid back and helpful. 5 mins to beach 10 to main drag. Nice and quiet.

The rooms were spacious, and the staff were kind (we even got a WhatsApp from one of them following check out, as my husband had left his phone charger in the room!). I thought the location might be a bit too far out, but it really doesn't take long to walk at all!

Gorgeous family run guesthouse. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful murals and lovely quiet relaxing atmosphere. Fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous hammocks to relax in the shade.
