Excellent location! Far enough from the hustle to enjoy the peace, yet only minutes to Hokitika township for easy access to the Wildfoods festival, restaurants, shops and Hokitika beach. The cottage is a gorgeous balance of old school charm & modern conveniences. It’s well equipped with all the comforts and quality items and furnishings you’d need to feel at home.

The cottage is super comfortable with lovely decor, modern equipment, and very comfortable. The deck gets the afternoon sun and is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Debbie, the hostess, is very welcoming and helpful.

We loved the peaceful, quiet, cosy and attractive cottage. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and it's ' always great to chat to locals when travelling. Though the cottage is so close to Hokitika centre it felt like we were in a rural area. We would have been very happy to stay longer. Thankyou !

“Excellent accommodation in Hokitika”

Very comfortable and cozy. Had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Two minute drive or 10 minute walk to centre of town. Pleasant rural aspect. It rained for much of our stay so we were glad of such great accommodation!

Super cute cosy place to stay. Clean, tidy & super comfortable bed! We arrived late & the heater had been turned on for us so it was all warm when we arrived, thank you!! Great place to spend our last long weekend as a family of two before our newest addition arrives ☺️ Will hopefully stay again!

“Pretty cottage, warm and comfortable..”

Pretty little cottage. Great heater Good bath room.and shower....but MEND THE BATHTAP in the bathroom. I discovered those 'leaf bits' in the bath were chips in the surface of the bath. The large black bath tap handle is NOT fixed to pipe and falls off when touched. No doubt at all that it is causing the chipped surface.

Gorgeous little cottage. Lovely location. Just a short walk or drive to town, and close to everything Hokitika has to offer. Wish we could have stayed longer. So relaxing!

“Lower your expectations and be prepared to work at making it comfortable”

The kitchen was well thought out and stocked with what we needed. For a couple we had enough space and used the spare room for luggage. The heat pump kept the cabin warm.
