We really enjoyed our stay at Beachfront Hotel Hokitika. The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. The location was excellent and its to shops, restaurants, and the centre of Hokitika. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel restaurant also had great views and its proximity to shops, restaurants, and the centre of Hokitika. “location of hotel is great - unfortunately will be looking for elsewhere next time”
The heater made loud clunking noises all night until I had to turn it off and be in the cold. For some reason every time I stay I am put on the roadside where there is only a pull-down blind which lets the street light shine in plus the bright lights right outside the door in the hallway which don't get turned off. I found myself trying to hang things on the windows and block the door to try and get some sleep. Not ideal when I am there for work
