“Dreamy”
Fireplace was so lovely, they even prepared our fire for us to light. Offered us to move to the Frodo room which was closer to the green dragon cafe. Food also very nice - beef curry especially. Then it was great being able to start hikes directly from the place.

Good quality coffee supplied. Fireplace was set up upon arrival and ready to use. Braai grid clean and ready to use. Beautiful scenery and kitchen had the best toasted sandwiches after a long drive to get there !

“Definitely worth a stay if you like things a little simpler or more rustic.”
The Backpackers is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers great views of the mountains and valleys. Our personal highlight was the open yoga room with a view of the three Hogs. You can start wonderful hikes directly from there. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I booked a self catering and i was given the best cottage there, it was awesome, all the necessary items needed were available , the host was very welcoming with his team and welcomed by dogs which were very warm . I am definitely coming back .

“Besides the cold weather since the fire wood kept us warm then everything was exceptional”
