“A room with a shared bathroom”

The location is very nice: just 50 metres from the seashore. Great for outdoor activities.

“Unacceptable Conditions – Dogs in Shared Spaces”

This stay was completely unacceptable. Dogs were allowed in shared areas, which is a serious issue — especially for someone with a dog allergy like me. I always take off my shoes to keep the place clean, yet I had to walk barefoot through dirt and hair left behind by other people’s pets. That is simply disgusting. Even worse, I was woken before 6 a.m. by the loud scratching of dog claws on wooden floors. No respect for others trying to sleep or enjoy a quiet morning. It felt more like a kennel than a holiday. On top of that, we were asked whether we wanted breakfast and replied “yes” via the booking portal — but never received any response or follow-up. That made it impossible to plan our mornings. Dogs should not be allowed in any accommodation where facilities are shared. Hygiene, health concerns, and basic respect for guests are being completely ignored here. I would absolutely not recommend staying under these conditions.

We stayed in a very comfortable room, there is access to a common fridge and coffee machine in the common area. Very well kept bathroom and overall clean and well maintained. Happy that we could stay with our dog.

The location was good - easy distance to beaches and all the facilities of Höganäs. The host let me into the property early which was great as I could leave my bike and get a shower on a very hot day. Joe is helpful and welcoming. The villa is comprised of 3 units - so you don't know who you'll be sharing with. That said it is clean and has most things you would need for an overnight stay. If you wee staying longer the facilities are not adequate - there is nowhere to cook any food - just a fridge and kettle. The bed was comfortable.

“Change of accommodation to a completely different type from what we booked and paid for caused big disappointment in our”

We did not stay at Villa Lindell, we were moved due to some sort of system booking error to another accommodation, Destination Strandbad. Since we were a group of 8, this ended up not being what we were looking for a midsommer celebration as there was no common area inside we could spend time together and outside was not agreeable. We learned that this js not the first time it happens and that guests are often moved from Villa Lindell to Destination Strandbad which causes dissatisfaction similar to our case.

We are transferred to Destination Strombaden as Villa Lindell was under renovation. Beachside location, Room had its own private bathroom and we were allowed to use the shared kitchen. Thanks Joe and his team!

We didn’t overnight here at Villa because I got a message right after I had reserved this Villa Lindell if I wanted to take a hotel room in an other place. Was the Villa over booked or what? ”In the other hotel would be a bigger room and a private bathroom?” I had thought when I made the Villa’s reservation we’d have a private bathroom in Villa. There is no mention about shared bathroom on the page of Booking.com . They should write the shared bedroom at the advertisement. I changed my reservation to the Destination strandbaden. We did not like it very much but it doesn’t belong here.
