“Reasinable place to stay for a few nights”

Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows.

“Great bungalows, very close to Champagne Beach”

Lonnoc Beach Lodge was a great spot to get to experience life on Santo. It's about an hour away from Luganville on a bumpy road but it's worth it. The bungalows are basic but comfortable. Wendy looked after us and cooked some delicious meals including papaya curry, kumala mash with steak and also a local dish called lap lap. Wendy even got up extra early to make us breakfast on the day we were leaving as we had a very early flight. All the food was so fresh. The view from the bungalow was amazing and I loved hearing the waves right there. There's a couple of other properties connected with great swimming beaches and where you can also hire a kayak. Champagne beach is either a kayak or walk away and is definitely worth visiting.

Wendy was amazing host and dinner from her was delicious! The accommodation itself was lovely, comfortable and quiet, great view.

“Basic but cosy”

Our bungalow was very basic but cosy. It functioned on solar power so we had lighting and could charge our phones in the evening when the generator was on. It was close to the shore so the sound of the sea was relaxing. Wendy, our host was very helpful as was Cindy when we needed anything and they cooked lovely meals for us in the evening for a reasonable price. The beautiful beach is 2 minutes walk away. This is a lovely way to experience local culture in a relaxing atmosphere. Transport can also be arranged if you need it and Champagne Beach is a 10 minute walk away. In summary, this is nice for a few days.

“A perfect true island experience”

The location is absolutely perfect, waking up to the ocean and waves every morning. The restaurant and food was also exceptional and well priced, we had the best food in all of Vanuatu here. The staff were lovely and helpful.

“Simple, Immensely Beautiful, Calming”

Lonnoc Beach Lodge was an incredible experience. A short, palm lined walk through a few small resorts and farms gets you to Champagne Beach. Hands down the nicest beach I have ever seen. Lonnoc Beach itself is no slouch either. Wendy our host organises car trips to all of the other attractions nearby. Notably the Nanda Blue Hole and yet another 10/10 beach, Port Olry, which offers a few more hospitality options. Wendy and Cindy are absolute angels and made our time incredibly easy and relaxing. Very generous serves of homecooking three times a day kept us fuelled up. Will be back for certain!

A very local experience, Wendy and all other colleagues were very nice and helpful. I think it is safe to say we all became good friends.

Location is good. Stunning white sand beach and crystal clear water. Lonnoc Beach is awesome. Champagne beach only a few minutes away. Beach is unbelievable

“Lovely stay at Lonnoc Beach”

My partner and I had the absolute best time at Lonnoc Beach Lodge. We booked three nights at first but extended because our flight to Port Vila got cancelled. Everybody was super helpful with driving us back to Luganville and even calling to the airvanuatu office. The location is beautiful. Right by Lonnoc Beach and a short walk from Champagne Beach. The food was delicious too! We will come back next time in Espiritu Santo!

The location was amazing, overlooking the ocean and an easy walk to Champagne Beach. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space and a great verandah to watch the ocean.

“Beautiful beach”

Wendy is very nice and serviceminded. You feel very welcome. They are updating the place. Just changed roof in the house where we stayed. And she told us about coming plans. Dinner was very tastful.

“A rustic experience, but great location.”

The location was excellent. The villa was just steps away from the ocean. Our host was very obliging. There was no electricity, but that wasn't a real problem, except for charging our phones. The outdoor shower was cold water only, though wasn't an issue, as the weather was quite warm. It's definitely a rustic experience.

Bungalow was comfortable and grateful for the mosquito coil. Wendy was great and very helpful when our taxi didn't turn up to collect us in the morning. I would recommend asking the accommodation to book transfers to and from the property. They were unable to get the generator started on our 2nd night and felt really bad as they were really trying and you can't eat without it. Would like to see hammocks either on the bungalow balcony or among the trees

“Little gem in Santo with best price to value ratio in Vanuatu!”

It’s a little paradise, away from the hustle and bustle of Luganville! We had paradise just to ourselves! I really can‘t agree with the last review that was written here. Our rooms were ready when we got there. The Bungalow was really clean, yes maybe some small stains on the white linen (what do you expect in the tropics). Wendy is an absolutely amazing host! She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Food is absolutely delicious in the restaurant and fairly priced as they are large portions as well! They even prepared us breakfast when we had to leave for the airport at 5:45 am!! You can charge your phone while you eat at the restaurant - they always turn on the generator from 6:30 pm - 8pm so you can also charge it in your room. We had no issues with using the solar power even during rainy season. Our Mosquito net had no holes. There are also mosquito nets on all the windows and there is bug spray in the room and anti mosquito coils. All in all it was a very comfortable stay and by far the best price to value ratio we have had in whole Vanuatu! Would stay with Wendy at Lonnoc Lodge everytime!
