Set in the Skagafjördur region, this family-run farmhouse is 20 minutes’ drive from Saudárkrókur. It offers a terrace and free parking. Tea/coffee facilities and a seating area are standard in Hofsstadir Farmhouse’s rooms. All have a private bathroom, desk and wooden floors. Seasonal, traditional Icelandic food is served at a sister property, Hofsstaðir Country hotel, 15 minutes’ walk away. Breakfast is served at the sister property.

We stayed in the farmhouse and the room was amazing big and well equipped. They even had adapters for different plugs and a spare charger for both android and iPhone.

The personel have offered us the acommodation in Hoffstadir Guesthouse which is a fantastic place. So my rating concernes this place, which has beatiful view, big comfortable rooms, good beds and include a tasty breakfast. Well done!

“Would stay there again.”
Room was very spacious, all in all comfy and warm which was very much needed in the tough weather conditions we experienced in June (snow, sleet and strong winds). Staff friendly and helpful. Good choice breakfast buffet.

“Couple stay overnight.”
Food in the restaurant was superb. We stayed in the Farmhouse room 3 and gge room was big and very comfortable. It's not in the main complex, just 5 minutes drive up ghe Road, but very good all the same.

“Totally worth the view!”
The view was stunning! Hotel is placed in the amazing area among mountains, rivers and the ocean. The room was really nice and the breakfast consisted of regional products.
