This house may be small and compact, but it had everything we needed to feel completely comfortable and happy. What made the stay truly special were the incredibly kind and caring hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed at all times. You can really feel the warmth and thoughtfulness behind this place. It made a difference. We would absolutely love to come back.

The hosts are absolutely amazing. They helped us with planning our trips to bearby areas. One of us caught a cold. The hosts were kind enough to give us a few mountain herbs which really helped with the cold. They even gave us a few local Icelandic beers. This has been one of the best airbnbs that we have stayed in. Would definitly recommend.

“Great find close to Höfn”

Great find close to Höfn! We were greeted by the host upon arrival and provided with a couple of tips where to eat in the area. The cabin itself looked very new, spotless clean and tastefully furnished. Despite it's proximity to the ring road the place was very quiet. This was our favorite accomodation during our trip in Iceland!

Owner is very responsive to reply and helped us replace the heater in the room. Thank you for the prompt response.

Host Rut was very friendly, helpful and could be reached at short notice. She makes the impression of a Lady who works hard to keep everything tidy and welcoming. Would have loved to stay in one of the pretty little Bungalows, but the (only) Room in the House was perfectly fine too. Can definitely recommend.

Very nice small cottage. The best accomodation on our trip in Iceland. The views vere stunning. We appreciated coffee machine, everything was very clean and cosy.
