We stayed at Dilksnes Guesthouse for two nights and had a great experience. The place is super close to Hofn. The building itself is peaceful and quiet, which made for a very relaxing stay. The owner was very responsive and quick to reply to our messages, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, cozy and the suite was well-organized, and had everything we needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Dilkins and felt right at home at this place. Would definitely recommend it!

We stayed two weeks here to work in the area, we really appreciate the place. Thank you very much for taking care of the place and checking on us. We felt comfortable and that is precious when staying a long time from home working everyday on the field.

“A great base as part of our trip around Iceland”
The room was a great size with a outdoor seating area and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves during our stay. It was just a short distance from Hofn and easy to reach from Route 1.

“Limited privacy: small house shared with three couples”
Pics are no longer up to date, there is another chalet next to the small house. The small house was shared among three couples with a shared small kitchen. The house is relatively new.
