A fabulous view of the mountains. The best shower. Comfortable beds. Nice and clean. Close to the shops in Hofn. A great place to overnight en route to the East Fjords.

Amazing cabin with a wonderful view. Good and clean facilities. We spotted the northern lights from the comfort of our bed. Recommend to book this place if you travel the south coast.

We could see the Aurora in the Aurora Cabins! Loved the size for 3 people, the barbecue and the view!

“Interesting place in a really isolate area.”
Aurora Cabins has not meal option, but it was clearly exposed in its description. The location was the ideal one to show the Northen Lights and in fact we saw you even though the really light ones. Well description of the method to check-in and checkout because no one in the area and enough space in the cabin.

Feels unfinished and little uncomfortable. For example there are no cushions on the sofa. It wasn't so clean and bedding was uncomfortable. Tiny kettle that you have to unplug to fill with water and no tv. E.G - some of the skirting boards were glossed and some left. The dish cloth is a knitted square and the sealant of the sink does make it look dirty due to the colour. In comparison to another cabin we stayed in for around £30 more which was outstanding. Sad as I booked this for my birthday night in Iceland

It's fairly isolated, meets all basic needs. Probably the only place with a stainless-steel pan.
