“Beautiful and Just next to Hof Church”
The location- I chose this place instead of Hofn (which is a town) and realized it was a great decision. Extremely polite and helpful staff. They have a restaurant serving local food and beer.

The location, breakfast and staff were lovely. Our room was terrible. The blinds didn’t work, there were no block out blinds so we weren’t able to get any sleep due to it never getting dark at night. Dinner is very overpriced and average.

“Very beautiful hotel. Definitely recommend as a base camp for trips to glaciers and diamond beach.”
The hotel staff was super kind and helpful, since we arrived quite late due to a storm. The room was super clean and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was very nice. Breakfast was very good, had the best rhubarb jam ever! The view to the mountains from the window was 10/10.

“Good stop near Vatnajökull, I'd go again”
We enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast, even though the latter could be a bit improved. The position near the Vatnajökull glacier is nice and the Hof village has nice things around to see A thing I didn't see mentioned enough there is a Gas pump near (10ish km), which is super useful if you are going through the ring road

Nice staff. Nice breakfast. We were lucky to catch aurora as the hotel is located near mountains with very low light pollution.

“Great staff, mediocre facilities, not value for money”
Very hospitable staff. We were pinned from the bad weather and they made sure we had coffee, tea and croissants throughout the day and made sure they kept us informed on the road conditions
