We warmly welcome you to Wild Dog Guest Lodge, Hoedspruit a Luxurious 4-star Bush Lodge situated on the Greenbelt of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate where the melodies of nature rise over all sounds. Indulge yourself in this breathtaking natural setting offering splendid bush veld and mountain views while appreciating wildlife sightings from your patio. Treat yourself with a genuine bush veld break in one of the luxurious and spacious cottages or villas elegantly decorated with modern African touches. Enjoy a peaceful and tranquil safari or bush break while residing in exclusive, modern and fully equipped units offering a high level of comfort and privacy. Our units are perfect for families and nature lovers who enjoy a quiet bush break or safari holiday. Wild Dog Guest Lodge boasts two Properties within Hoedspruit Wildlife Reserve (approximately 2km apart), both properties consist of a shared swimming pool, loungers, deck chairs and umbrellas. The Main Lodge (352 Kierrieklapper) introduces the the Sable Cottage (Family Room) & Nyala Cottage (Chalet) - These units both accommodate 2 guests, are fully equipped for self catering and offer guests the option to also book for breakfast. Akasia Villas (324 Akasia) Shawu Villa (Two-Bedroom Villa) (maximum 4 adults and 2 children under 12) & Dzombo Villa (Luxury Villa) (maximum 4 - These units are larger units, both with their own barbeque area and are fully equipped for Self Catering. Guests can also reserve the bed & breakfast option and enjoy a delicious full continental breakfast at the Main Lodge. All our units offer a magnitude of amenities, which include an information file with activities and places to visit in the area. All units are equipped with dining areas, Hi-speed wifi, air-conditioning, Flat screen TVs with the following cable TV viewing options - Netflix, Appel TV, Showmax & You Tube. DSTV app is installed on our flat screen TVs - Guests to enter their own DSTV Log-in details should they want to make use of DSTV streaming. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is a conserved 680 hectare reserve which lie at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg Mountain escarpment, between the Blyde River Valley and Kruger National Park. This exclusive estate’s pristine lowveld bush is home to a splendid array of plants, birds and animals. Impalas, Kudus, Zebra, Waterbuck, Giraffe and Wildebeest graze peacefully, while stocky Warthogs search for roots and tubers. Hyena, Wild dog and Leopard sightings occur from time to time within the Estate while nocturnal creatures operate with their highly developed senses during the magical star graze African nights.

The place was memorable and amazing, different from what we see in the city definitely was worth a 10 hour drive, peaceful and quiet. Our host was so welcoming, loveable, helpful just to top it off she was amazing. I felt home away from home! We Definitely coming back.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay in Hoedspruit! We had the most incredible 4-night stay at Wild dog guest lodge, a villa inside a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the host-Vicky and Henro’s genuine kindness, attention to detail, and heartfelt hospitality. Every interaction felt sincere, thoughtful, and welcoming. The villa itself is spacious, clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are comfortable, the layout is well thought out, and every function of the home—from the kitchen to the outdoor areas—made our stay very convenient. The peaceful, natural surroundings made this a perfect place to relax and unwind. During our stay, we spotted various wild animals just walking pass the villa—Nyala, Duiker, Warthogs—which made the experience feel even more magical and connected to nature. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared with the animals, coming to the waterhole. On the morning we had an early game drive, the host even packed a gorgeous breakfast for us to take along. Really lovely breakfast during dame drive. We also booked all our game drive activities to Kruger and in Big 5 Game drive, through the host, and every experience exceeded our expectations and we met all big 5 and other more. From start to finish, everything was arranged perfectly, and we felt completely taken care of—even though we didn’t rent a car, everything was smooth and easy throughout our stay. This is a place we would return to in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a serene, nature-filled, and wonderfully hosted stay in Hoedspruit, this Wilddog guest lodge is the perfect choice.
