The property itself is a work of art. Beautifully designed and the views are stunning. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious. The hosts are warm and make sure you feel taken care of.

What a place! The photos don’t do it justice. We will never forget our stay. Beauty every direction you look. The mountain suites are just incredible. Waking up to those spectacular views was so special. Highly recommend a helicopter ride through the cannon!

We had an absolutly amazing time at the UmVangati House and it was a perfect start for our journey through South Africa! Such a warm welcoming, fantastic rooms, perfectly clean, delicious food and the view - overwhelming! We could have spend all day enjoying the calm, watching the landscape and the various animals at the water hole while listening to the birds. And when we had trouble with our car we didn't even have to ask, they immediatly helped us and arranged a switch of our rented car. Thank you so much, you are absolutely lovely!

The house, the people, the view, the food!

The exceptional design of the accommodation, built in the mountains so the views were incredible. The photos do not do the place justice. It is even more beautiful in person. Lidia, Giel and family were also lovely, kind hosts. And the food that they made was amazing, and we appreciated them being flexible about dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian). Location wise it is a short (10-15 minutes drive) to Hoedspruit centre, and close to Panorama route.
