My stay at Sunbird Oasis Lodge was simply exceptional from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a team of incredibly kind, smiling, and attentive people. Whether at reception, the restaurant, or anywhere around the lodge, every single staff member was approachable and genuinely willing to help at any time. The level of service here is something truly special. A very special mention goes to the owner, Tommy. What makes this place unique is how personally involved he is. He takes the time to greet every guest, have real conversations, and make sure everyone is enjoying their stay and not missing anything. I had the pleasure of meeting him, and he is an incredibly warm and genuine person who clearly puts his heart into this lodge. The location itself feels like a small paradise. Surrounded entirely by nature, with nothing but trees and wildlife in every direction, it offers a rare sense of peace and connection with the wild. From the lodge’s viewpoints, we were lucky enough to see elephants twice, and knowing that any animal can appear at any moment makes the experience even more magical. What impressed me even more is the incredible value for money. I was initially offered other lodges at around €990 per person per night. Instead, I chose Sunbird Oasis Lodge—three nights for around €360, plus two safaris for about €300 total including the return transfer to the airport. And honestly, the experience here was even better than some five-star luxury lodges. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the food is freshly prepared and delicious, and everything is done with care and attention to detail. The safaris were another highlight. On the first day, we had an amazing guide who shared deep knowledge about wildlife and nature—we saw around 14 animals.

Absolutely exceptional, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - the team did everything to make us feel welcome on their lovely property. Cant really fault anything from the room, the cleanliness of the property and facilities, the food was outstanding in the restaurant. The team took a special effort to take us down the road to see a pride of lions on an adjacent property, and we took a lovely game walk one morning. Did I mention the staff :0) - the team at Sunbirds are what makes this stay super special, from the owner to the security, from the restaurant staff to the cleaners, I honestly haven't felt hospitality like this in a long long time Couple of constructive feedback thoughts........... Breakfast seemed to arrive to the buffet over the course of an hour, not a major issue but was slightly inconvenient on the last day when we needed to leave dead on 8am. On the day we arrived to breakfast 9am breakfast was cold - I guess you need to time it right - but that's being super picky, the choice was fantastic and the food was tasty. Seems like a missed opportunity not to have a sofa bed on the living area in the premium room - we'd have been perfectly happy to have one room for 2 adults/1 kid rather than 2. Also, need blinds or curtains for the upstairs windows considering the thunder storms during the winter lit up the bedroom.

Very beautiful, everyone was very nice and helpful. Organized a safari for me even tho I was alone.

Spacious well equipped rooms, really well thought out and done with clean modern lines while still keeping that relaxed feeling of being in the bush. There are all sorts of facilities... sauna, steam room, hot tub, open air gym where you might see elephant while you working out. I was a half board rate and the menus options were good and the food excellent quality and generous portions. The staff are really good at their job, friendly and accomodating. Well done

Its the perfect place to make a short break if you are doing safari in Kruger. It has e restaurant with friendly staff and a very good kitchen. The rooms are quite big and the garden around the pool area is just stunning. There is also a three stories high lookout- perfect to enjoy your sundowner. I can really recommend this place

This beautiful lodge with its wonderful garden is the best place we have stayed at in South Afrika so far. The food offered in the arty restaurant is amazing. Fabulous breakfast. Tommy is a great host always making sure that his guests have everything they need. I highly recommend staying at Sunbirds Oasis Lodge.

“In my heart for ever”

When you say oasis, your mind will blend you in a picture about water and lush vegetation. That place can proudly carry that name. Once you are in the pool you are not willing to come out. The owner is really caring about every corner of the property. Exquisite sitting decks for animal viewing, gorgeous outdoor gym,cosy saunas, hot tub, outside bar. Overwhelming aesthetic in the restaurant, quality food, an ambiance that you feel welcomed because they take a time to decorate. I adored the lights in the night, the trees are old and majestic.One of the most beautiful garden what I visited. Couldn't stop watching the ostriches who waited in front of our bedroom in the morning and later pulled down the cushions from the loungers as they were cleaning as all others in the morning 🤣It was sad to be there just for one night but that place will stay in my ❤️ forever
