Situated 12 km from Hoedspruit, Off Beat Safaris Bush Lodge offers rustic thatched self-catering accommodation. It features an outdoor splash pool and game viewing opportunities. The simple bungalows are equipped with mosquito nets and have an outside bathroom with shower. “Great rustic bush stay for a group of friends”
This is a nice bush camp that allows you to pretend you are roughing it in the bush, whilst still having all the basic comforts you may need. I was lucky enough to have the camp to myself, but I can see a group of friends having a great weekend here. Surprisingly good birding in camp. Friendly and helpful staff.

We were the only guests, and were given a free upgrade to the chalet with private pool. The host and gardener were also very kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed spotting smaller wildlife from the hide out during the sunset and sunrise, and the peace and quiet of the stay. During the night we were visited by a honey badger twice that tried to get into the cupboards and fridge, some excitement for sure!
