“Incredible villa and hosts!”

Absolutely incredible stay — easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Nomads Den Safari Villas is the perfect mix of luxury and being right in the middle of the bush. The villa is beautifully designed, very modern, and extremely comfortable, but what really makes it special is waking up and feeling completely surrounded by nature. We had wildlife right outside the villa which made the whole experience feel unreal and really unique. The pool and outdoor space are perfect for relaxing in between game drives, and it genuinely feels private and peaceful the entire time. The location is also great — close enough to Hoedspruit and nearby reserves for easy access to safari activities, but still feels remote and calm. Everything was clean, well thought out, and easy. The Wi-Fi and facilities were excellent for such a bush setting, which was a nice surprise. Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting a luxury safari base that still feels authentic and close to nature. We would absolutely stay again!!!

The tour of the place at the beginning was a good touch with someone available on arrival. The place is well stocked and inviting for a relaxing time at the Den. Hosts were extremely friendly, quick to respond and happy to help where possible. Animal viewings in the morning were unexpected treat!

We had a truly fantastic stay at The Nomads Den. The hosts were incredibly warm, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. One of the highlights for my kids was watching the game by the watering hole—they absolutely loved it. We also spotted quite a bit of wildlife around the house, which made the experience even more special. The surroundings were breathtakingly scenic and so peaceful. It was such a beautiful getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Stunning location, beautifully appointed property. Best location within the wildlife preserve. Owners excellent communicators and very happy to assist with anything, they helped us organize our trip with many details from hire car to safari outings.

“Fantastic stay, close to nature”

This is a great place if you are looking for peace and quiet surrounded by nature. We loved spending time at the back of the house just watching animals passing by. We had a pleasure to see zebras, giraffes, antelopes, mongoose, warthog, birds etc. The place is a short drive from Hoedspruit in a fenced estate. We booked our stay with breakfast. It's worth mentioning that the host brings breakfast ingredients in the morning around 8:30 as and when agreed; in our case it was on day 1 and 4, but you can decide as you please. You will need to prep food yourself. You can also book your stay without breakfast. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a washing machine, it is filled with detergent, so no need to bring your own.

Well, I travel a lot and this is one of the rare places where it is hard to find negative aspects. The venue is in a secure and beautiful wildlife estate with lot's of game that walks around at the property. So, when walking around or when sitting under the porch there is frequent visit of beautiful animals. The villa itself is clearly well-designed with all the latest and modern technology. Also, the design blends all perfectly and gives you a very luxurious feeling. Cleanliness is impeccable. Beds are very comfortable! Perfect airco inside, great WiFi, Sat TV, super modern kitchen, incl wine fridge, nespresso machine; laundry machine... all present. Thanks to the reverse osmosis water purification you have very clean water. The showers produce a lot of hot water and the available toiletries are of great quality. Outside you have a very large porch, with big dining table, comfortable lounge seats and swimming pool. The pool is not heated and not big enough to swim; but perfect to cool down a bit on hot days. Also available are a Big Green Egg and a big Weber BBQ for those who want to do a braai. We ordered a private chef and massage through Nomad Den and both were great value for money!

Exquisite 2-bed luxury facility providing privacy whilst embracing the natural surroundings. Great setting for a romantic escape, weekend getaway with friends. Provides a balance between work and vacation (workation) if you are working from home but also want to have a vacation at the same time. Great internet facilities and overall luxury decor with attention to the finest detail.

The location of Nomads Den is excellent, situated right on a riverbed. Very private. The first giraffe was waiting for us when we got there.
