“Not a luxurious lodge, but a luxurious experience.”

The game drives were awesome. Our driver/guide Caswell was excelent in finding animals and had always a smile in his face. The same for the restaurant staff. Always smiling and ready to answer all our questions. The whole facility is wonderful. We slept in the tent and it had an african safari vibe.

Everyone is extremely kind and goes the extra mile to help you. Amazing lodge. The food was great, and if you were hungry you could always ask for something. The safaris were amazing with Caswell. He has the best eye, tracking footprints and making sure we saw all animals. Thank you, Caswell!

“Fantastic safari experience”

We had a great experience at Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge. The undoubted highlights were the two 3 hour game drives each day, with our extremely knowledgable guide, Sean. Having not been on a safari before we went in with an open mind but everything was far beyond our expectations. The service within the lodge was also great, all the meals were delicious and the staff were all very polite, friendly and welcoming.

The game drive was the best part of the trip. Saw the big 5 in one day. The staff were friendly, polite and caring. Caswell is a great guide, made the drive memorable.

Our stay at MILIMA was absolutely amazing! The drives were incredible, and our guide Sean was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. The food was delicious, and the staff were all so warm and welcoming. The grounds were beautiful — we loved being able to swim while watching elephants at the watering hole right in front of the hotel. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience, and we’d definitely love to come back again!

I cannot fault this experience at all….all I can say everything exceeding our expectations. Food, staff, guides, safari drives, villas, facilities were all 10/10 I can certainly recommend this little gem.

Amazing location and great accommodation. Pool overlooking the watering hole gave the best animal spotting! Staff were so attentive and very knowledgeable. Our driver / guide went over and above to find the big 5. Food was great. Can’t recommend enough.

Spent two wonderful nights in Milima Safari Lodge! Upon arrival we were greeted by Sean with a welcome drink. We were so lucky that even though we arrived midday we still managed to make the evening Safari drive. We had Prem as our guide and we couldn’t have enjoyed the experience more. Prem is a native of the area and was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and bush flora and fauna. We managed to see 4/5 of the Big five in our first two drives which was just amazing. The evening drinks were so enjoyable as well. Dinner in the accommodation was incredible, such high quality of food and drinks available. You could also make some dietary requests if needed. Dinner is held with all guests of the accommodation which we really enjoyed as we made friends with a lovely group of Brazilian girls. The morning breakfast spread was wonderful. We had both a female and male chef (I’m so sorry the names have escaped us) both were exceptional. The ladies who managed the property were also so lovely (Beauty and Sweetness). As well as a lovely guide who would shine lights at night so everyone could walk safely back to their lodge. We had a really relaxing day by the pool with some drinks on our second day - with views of some of the big five from the nearby watering hole. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and well stocked with towels, vanity kits etc. The entire lodge had such a relaxing sophisticated atmosphere and was so peaceful. We couldn’t recommend more.
