“Unforgettable safari experience with outstanding hospitality”

Our two-night stay at Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor in Hoedspruit was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, who truly made us feel at home. A very special thank you to Aggy and the spotter, our driver, who was outstanding—knowledgeable, warm, and always willing to go the extra mile to make every game drive memorable. His passion for the wildlife and the area added so much value to our experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the Tuesday night braai after the safari—a truly special experience with delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere, and the perfect setting to share stories from the day while enjoying the sounds of the bush. The manor itself is beautiful, with a stunning pool overlooking the savanna, where we could relax and enjoy incredible views while watching wildlife pass by. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of safari adventures. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and thoughtfully taken care of. Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor offers the perfect combination of nature, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended—we would love to return!

Absolutely beautiful location, especially for a city break. Woke up to sounds of elephants making their way to the drinking hole. But more than the place/location - the staff was amazing. They really made us feel at home.

One of the best places to experience an African sunset. We always visit Khaya whenever we’re in Hoedspruit. The food is excellent, and the staff are consistently friendly, smiling, and eager to assist, making every stay truly special. Sisy at the spa was amazing - she took her time and ensured my treatment was relaxing. There are plenty of beautiful spaces to unwind in the central area, which is definitely a personal favourite.

The whole experience was incredible. Received a warm welcome at check in and a full explanation of all the facilities. The room was spacious and comfortable. Drinks on the deck were served promptly and efficiently and the views were amazing. The braai at the Boma was an added surprise - the layout was exceptional with the firepit in the middle and the food was excellent, well prepared and presented by excellent staff. The breakfast was also well prepared and cooked to order. All in all it was a great experience and all the staff were attentive and helpful.

Dining place at the balcony is really nice, good view good music and friendly staffs, nice chilling time in the morning with coffee or in the evening with the cocktails etc. Morning time you can expect to see giraffes and zebras come under the balcony, view with the animals, forests and the mountain are also stunning!

Khaya made our first time in África the "África of my dreams". Everithing was perfect. All the staff are friendly, fun and made everything as good as possible to make us feel at home. A place that welcomes us, with very good food and every detail thought out to make our stay the best possible.

A beautiful oasis in a fenced game reserve with stunning views of the bushveld. Cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, hippos, lions and crocodiles can all be seen on game drives. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious!!

“Breath taking, 5* hospitality and views. Pure perfection”

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we knew we had NOTHING to worry about. Advise greeted us and took care of all our cases and worries. We had a lovely welcome drink on arrival and she personally sat us down and went through our plans and sorted everything out and all our loose ends that we had. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we experienced EVERYTHING that we wanted. She even booked us a private transfer for a tour we booked ourselves that didn’t include a transfer when booking. Everything was truly taken care of and we felt so at ease from the moment we arrived. She noted down our early mornings to ensure we had a lovely breakfast pack prepared when we would be leaving before breakfast. I could not fault the staff at the lodge or Advise even if I tried. I couldn’t possibly write a review and leave out the incredible breathtaking views that the lodge provides. The drakensburg mountains were stunning from the reception area/infinity pool and we saw SO many animals at the watering hole during our time relaxing including Giraffe, Warthogs, Wildebeast, baboons, antelope and more! It was just breath taking and the food was all also delicious. They even provided for my mum who is a vegan and made sure she had plenty even at the Boma when most things were BBQ’d on the fire.

The most beautiful view, we loved the experience. Everything was exceptional.

The service was excellent. The staff is friendly, and it even feels like family. They also constantly ensure our needs are met. The game drive was the best ever. I had a few in my lifetime, but our ranger Sammy just went the extra mile. The food was excellent and service even better. Our room was neat and prepared for us for the evening with down lighting. I can recommend this lodge and will definitely visit them again.
