“Hands down our best stay in South Africa”

Wonderful place, the food is awesome, great staff. We had an incredible time there. The game drives were incredible, and I have to thank so much for the vehicle structure: We were there during rainy days and the vehicles had roofs, blankets, ponchos and pouches with heated water. That saved our experience there, we would have been so uncomfortable if it was any different.

“Impeccable guest experience”

My husband and I had such a memorable stay at IsiLimela Game Lodge during our trip to Hoedspruit. The lodge has been recently renovated, and everything was spotless and very comfortable. But what really made our experience special was the warm hospitality from the entire team. Alphod took wonderful care of us, always making sure our needs were met. Our rangers, Musa and Ripfumelo (or “R”), were not only knowledgeable but also really engaging. We learned so much from them, and we were lucky enough to see the Big Four and more during our game drives! On one of the days, we booked a relaxing massage with Zikhona during our stay, which was such a treat after a 3-hour game drive. After our game drives, we always looked forward to the delicious meals prepared by Chef Constance. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Maikel and Wanda, who made us feel truly welcome and at home. What we loved most was the positive energy among the entire team. Everyone seemed so happy and passionate about what they do, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and it's all thanks to the incredible hosts at IsiLimela Game Lodge. We can't wait to come back! Thank you again to Maikel, Wanda, and the whole team.

The staff was excellent. Very kind and helpful. All the meals were amazing and the set up was lovely. Rooms were very clean and nice. They really made our new years celebrations special, and even paid special attention to one of our birthdays. The ranger Jesse is amazing! Great game drives and always goes the extra mile to make it even better.

the staff was very friendly, and went above and beyond to make my birthday special. I requested for a special setting and was executed to the T 😊 the game drives were amazing, the game ranger went all out for us to see and experience animals in the wild.

Very kind people and a beautiful lodge to stay. The lodge was very clean and had a nice view. Amazing food and an amazing ranger to do your safari’s with. It was fantastic!

“Amazing place with an incredible view!”

Very beautiful accommodation in the middle of Parsons Nature Reserve. The rooms a very clean and beautiful. The bath and shower are really great and warm. The bed is not too hard and not too soft. The view from your bed is amazing, just as at all points of the accommodation. There is a built sitting spot just above the park with an amazing view, we’re you can have your diner or just drink a glass of wine and see the sunset! The pool is clean and is very nice to sit. Every one night of your stay there is a drive included. Ranger Jesse knows were he is talking about and can answer every question you have! We saw in a night drive a hurdle of lionesses and a leopard!!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was so nice, very helpful and flexible. The Game Drives were awesome and we completed the big five at our fourth drive. The food was delicious and the swimming pool was small but nice. The chalet was clean and luxurious with an amazing view. We stayed for 3 nights and were sad to leave the place. We would definitely recommend this lodge to everyone!
