Absolute serenity! View of the river was lovely to wake up to everyday, cabin was sheltered by the trees which we means we woke up nice and cool, soaking of which the cool tub was an unexpected feature but an absolute bonus!! Very spacious, very well equipped and the hosts were easy to contact if I had any questions

Such a beautiful setting, you can hear and see the river and it feels like you are in the forest. We spent a lot of time on the deck and in the pool. The kitchen is very comfortable to cook in and has everything you need. Bathrooms are also very nice. The hosts were lovely and supplied nice information on the area

The host was excellent. I also liked the view. Nice place to relax and have me time. I saw reviews about the road, but growing up in a rural area, the road to me was not a problem.

“Absolute perfection”

First impression on arrival is the passion for the place that exudes from the hosts. Absolutely lovely people. They leave you be to enjoy the surroundings of pure bliss and serenity. This is the prefect escape to just relax, go for walks and read. The distance from the nearest town might be a disadvantage for some people but honestly that's what is so lovely about it... you feel a true disconnect from society which is what a perfect holiday to relax should be. Hosts are fast to respond if you do need something but it won't be necessary as they already have you covered. The cosy cabin was just completely perfect, from the surrounding river, the bokkies that come by daily, the surprising daily visits from trumpeter hornbills was all greatly enjoyed. We saw civet and bush babies almost every night. Giraffe were seen in the day along with a few kinds of buck. Heard the hippo downriver but weren't going to try look for it on foot. The pool is a definite plus on those very hot days if the baboons haven't used it as a bath, but don't fret, one call and they'll come clean it again for you. (Added to the allure of living among wildlife)
