Fantastic welcoming from the team. The location is very nice, with plenty of wild animals (zebras, giraffes, springboks, elands, etc.) and cattle. The sundowner tour is highly recommended (400NAD per person). Very good dinner and breakfast. Fantastic chalet room with high quality bedding and furniture.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jansen Kalahari Guest Farm. It’s a fantastic place to start a trip in Namibia. We stayed for one night in House No. 1, which has two bedrooms. The house was fully equipped with a kitchen and a braai, and the view was beautiful. One of the highlights was that animals came right up to the house — such a special experience. Everything felt very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully run, with a strong sense of sustainability. We also joined the sundowner drive with the host, which we highly recommend. He spent a lot of time with us, shared many insights, and it turned into a genuinely interesting and personal experience. Honestly, we could easily have stayed longer. Next time, we would also consider the campsite, as it looked great as well. If you’re staying here, definitely book both the sundowner drive and dinner. The dinner was very delicious and absolutely worth the price. Breakfast was quite simple, but you can order freshly prepared egg dishes, which made it more than sufficient. Overall, it was an excellent experience. All of us agreed that we would happily come back again. The farm has plenty of wonderful animals and a very welcoming host. We didn’t regret at all making this small detour on our way to Sossusvlei.

“Nice game farm in the Kalahari desert”

Nice accommodation for a last night before departure. We were able to see zebras and giraffes walking around the farm. The salad and fruits were delicious!

Our stay at Jansen Farm was simply unforgettable! The beautiful landscape with its breathtaking sunsets is hard to put into words – a real highlight every evening. The Jansen family is incredibly warm and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The entire staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The bungalows are beautiful, modernly furnished and clean. The generous distance between the accommodations is particularly pleasant, allowing you to enjoy your privacy at all times. The giraffes and elands that wander right between the bungalows are an absolute experience – you can hardly get any closer to nature. The sundowner tour and the scorpion walk are highly recommended. You learn exciting and incredible things about the farm, the animals and their way of life – truly impressive! Everything is rounded off by the fantastic food, which delighted us every day. We can wholeheartedly recommend this location farm and would love to come back! Thank you for making our stay most memorable.

“Would have liked to stay longer”

We really enjoyed our stay on this beautiful farm. Perfect for relaxing and for walking on the various trails. The sundowner drive and the bush braai were excellent.

A Stunning Kalahari Gem! What an incredible spot in the Kalahari desert! Staying here feels like living on a real working farm, and our night was absolutely magical. The star-filled skies are breathtaking, and the accommodation is impeccably set up and spotlessly clean—very decent and comfortable all around. Our room even had four beds, perfect for our group. The real highlight, a true exclusive jewel of the trip, was the Sundown Drive with the farm owner, Andy. He took us around his vast property, showing us all the animals up close—we spotted every one! The sunset was out of this world. We have zero complaints; the owners are incredibly friendly. Loved the shaded pool for a relaxing dip and the little kitchenette for added convenience. Pure bliss from start to finish—highly recommend!

“Comfortable chalet with attractive setting and many animals”

When we arrived we were welcomed by Victoria who explained where everything was, mealtimes, the bar and all we needed to know. The chalet was very spacious and comfortable and had everything you would need for self catering. The stoep was shaded by a big tree and the braai was close by. We sat outside and could see giraffe, zebra, eland and other animals walking around not far away. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both meals were very tasty. We will definitely come again.

The rooms are in individual small chalets very well equipped. The sundown drive was very nice to know about the farm life.

The chalets provide a great view. You can watch the animals from your patio and have a stunning view on the lightning during the thunderstorms during the rainy season. The Lodge offers a scorpion walk. Join Mario to see the tiny yellow animals after dinner. It was an awesome experience and we learned a lot about these. It feels absolutely safe.

The atmosphere, the tranquillity, the animals on your doorstep. The food was delicious. The hosts, the staff the hospitality, everything was superb 👌 The rooms was surprisingly spacious and simplistic. Rustic on the outside and beautiful on the inside.
