Amazing rural property, with even more amazing hosts. It was like going to a friend’s house for dinner. Cottage with a view down the valley even gave us a glimpse of the northern lights. Truly Wonderful.

Great location in a green valley at the start of the West Iceland peninsula, about 5 km on a well-kept gravel road. The main building has the reception, dining area and a few small units. We stayed in one of the larger double units just below the road, with amazing views over the valley. Rooms are modern, stylish and very functional. Breakfast is in a small but well-stocked buffet area. Dinner is by reservation (book by early afternoon) with a short menu, but dishes are excellent, well-prepared and nicely presented. Limited wine list, but good quality. The family running the place is super kind and gave us great tips for sightseeing, cafes, and fuel stops. Overall, highly recommended – especially for couples looking for a quiet, comfortable stay.

Very kind staff! The house that we had was very cute and confortable. The house had internal bathroom and toilet and they were very nice and clean too. The dinners in the restaurant were VERY delicios! The view from the porch of the house was fantastic!

The views were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and gave us lots of useful information about the area. Our room was comfortable and clean. I would recommend having an evening meal there, simple menu but very tasty food.
