“A Cozy and Authentic Norwegian Cottage Experience”

We had a lovely stay at Hjelledalen Hyttesenter. The cottage was small, cosy, comfortable, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. One of the highlights was experiencing a traditional Norwegian cottage with a sod (grass) roof for the first time. It was something we had only seen in photos before and added a unique charm to our stay. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, fresh mountain air, and beautiful views all around the property. Waking up to the stunning valley and mountains made this one of the most memorable stays of our Norway trip. A perfect place for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Norwegian cabin experience.

“Good place for overnight on the way to fjords”

When you travel to Stryn and further to fjords and you are tired a bit, just few kilometers after the tunnel and serpentine road you can find this camping with hytte houses. Well equipped house with nice open living room area, separated bedroom and also beds on mezzanine. If you wish, there is a grill outside and the shop in the nearby.

It was a very nice moody woodden house, had a bit of camping feeling, and in the morning the view was amazing for the mountains. Also equipped with basically everything what we needed.

Location was beautiful and for one night it was perfect. We cooked in and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was quite warm when we visited so the airco was welcome and needed. Simpel decor but worked for us .

Nice cottages. Well equipped. Self check in, cottage numbers with name was at the reception door. Reception was closed but can be reached them by telephone. I guess that is the only way to reach them since they didn't reposnd to my queries through booking.com Kids liked the loft and swingset Kitchen is well equipped. Good hot water supply and shower. For future travelers - there is no microwave oven. Linens (clean and pressed), towels and cleaning are included although it is written that linens and towels as extra service in booking.com

Great scenic location, cozy and comfortable cabins. Well equipped kitchens with all necessary equipment. Upon arrival we found information on the door with the guests' names and keys in the door. Highly recommended place.

Spacious house with an amazing view - a few rooms and a BBQ area, and the mountain views are just incredible, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. We loved having a BBQ, it had everything we needed for cooking except basics like salt, sugar or coffee, so bring your own.

The hytta cabin was awesome with great location and you will find everything you need inside. The check in way was very nice. I appreciate how the host has managed
