Overview
Situated along Hjelledøla River, this scenic countryside property is 9 km from Jostedalsbreen National Park Centre. It offers free WiFi, an on-site supermarket, pub and café with a large, furnished terrace. Guests at Folven Camping can choose cottages with either private or shared bathroom facilities. All include simple décor, a patio, fridge and kitchenware. Some have dining tables, while others have a seating area. A pump track, beach volleyball court and a skateboarding park are located on site. Other area activities at Folven include hiking, climbing and via ferrata. Guests can rent bikes on-site. Stryn Summer Ski Centre is 20 km away, while Briksdal Glacier and Geiranger Fjord are both 45 km from the cottages.

It’s legendary, and you can feel the history. The atmosphere is super relaxed and you’re allowed to party all night during summer skiing.

“Very good, I'd be happy to come back again.”
We found a beautifully located campsite there. The cabins were simple, tidy and clean. The view was wonderful, and the reception staff were very helpful with any questions or requests we had. We had a very, very good meal in the adjoining restaurant and were treated in a friendly and personal manner. For anyone who prefers individuality, freedom and friendliness, this is a very nice place to stay.

“Nice location in nature, but too many people.”
Nice location between high mountains and next to roaring river, close to highway to continue your journey, a grocery store across highway open till midnight, well equipped common kitchen.

“Okay for a night stop over”
The property had lovely views and in a nice location next to a petrol station and small supermarket, just off the highway. The were some cooking appliances and utensils in the cabin. Staff were friendly. Showers were free and bathrooms were clean.

One of the most spectacular locations and views we've had on our trip! The campsite is huge, 360 view of the mountains and valley around.
