The exquisite cleanliness, Salvador Dali’s prints, lots of books and interesting masks on the wall - all of this makes the place unique and cozy! The owner of the house is such a sweet lady!

Loved the decor and the easy-going ambience of the common places of the guesthouse! They even had a very clean hot tub in an incrediple scenery to enjoy, while breathing the fresh air of Iceland and hearing the birdsong! Very nice room, comfortable beds, enjoyable mattresses, clean bedlinen and towels! The small box with the toffees on the table was a very kind welcome touch!

Our stay was wonderful. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely couple who made us feel at home from the start. We really appreciated being given a comfortable and more spacious room. The accommodation was very well organized, clean, and had everything needed to feel at home. The kitchen was especially well equipped! After many hours on the road, we had a peaceful and restorative stay. The location and natural surroundings make this place truly unique. We would definitely stay here again!

The owner is super helpful and involved. He advised us to be careful of the storm that was coming and we decided therefore to leave early. It is people like him that make you feel safe and welcome.

The authenticity, homeliness and comfort . If you want a paired down gentle experience in a truly majestic setting , then this is the place . I was alone there , off season for Christmas and the owners could not do enough to make me feel comfortable.

We love this place so much, we extend our stay there. So clean so good the kitchen and the hot tub with the northern lights above us. Lovely!!

Our host filled us in on local eateries and made a recommendation to a place 12 minutes down the road next to a fjord. We went there and had an amazing fish and chip meal and spent ages chatting with our waitress getting more tips.

“A pleasant stay for a night, good facilities, accommodating hosts”

The house was very quiet when we stayed there, only one other lovely couple stayed that night. We had option to do laundry, currently at 2000kr extra, for washing and dryer for as long as needed, which was a very good price for the service. Facilities and room was very clean. Separate kitchen for the guests with all equipment, even a dishwasher. Bed was very comfortable.
