Overview
Offering its services ever since the Edo period, Hitoyoshi Onsen Nabeya boasts views of Hitoyoshi Castle and Kuma River from all guestrooms, and offers free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and make use of free private parking available on site. Located in the centre of the Hitoyoshi Onsen district, the property is within walking distance from various restaurants and shops, making it easy for guests to explore the area and/or go shopping. The property is a 50-minute drive from Kagoshima Airport, and an 80-minute drive from Kumakoto Airport via motorway. From Fukuoka Airport, it takes approximately 120-minutes by car on the motorway. There is luggage storage space at the property. The ryokan also offers free use of bicycles. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, and certain rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. You will find a kettle in the room. Guests can also enjoy soaking in the quality pure spring water of the hot-spring baths to wind down. The property offers kaiseki meals which consist of sashimi, sweet fish, wagyu beef, and a variety of other menus making use of its local produce and ingredients.

Love the room layout. A private onsen on the terrace with river view, conveniently linked to the bathroom for shower. They provided nice teas, tea cups, teapot, coffee and a small local snack for each guest in the room. A supermarket directly opposite the hotel. There's also free parking.

Rooms were very nice and clean and spacious. The onsen was super great as well. Staff were helpful with pointing out sightseeing points as well as helping to call a store for their availability. Would stay again.

Fabulous location with onsen facilities including a private, above ground bath with views overlooking the Kuma river. So relaxing and invigorating. Staff are very helpful.

“Beautifully renovated hotel in an amazing location. The views and riverside ambiance are great.”
Our overnight stay here was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the look and feel is fantastic. Our room was spacious and had an amazing view of the river and castle ruins. The sound of the running river water was a highlight. The onsen bath was modern and welcoming.
