“Lovely, warm, welcoming staff and a large comfortable room.”
We really liked the staff. They were so friendly, warm, funny and welcoming. The room was large and we had a lovely outlook over the river and in the morning we were able to book a private onsen. The breakfast was very good too.

We had a great stay at this place which had everything you need for a peaceful retreat and relaxation. Private onsen, balcony with river view, extra large beds (had a best sleep ever) and incredibly helpful and kind staff. Just wish we could have stayed longer

“Lovely ryokan”
Wonderful stay at this ryokan! The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, creating a family-like atmosphere. It's just a 7-minute walk from the train/bus station, making it super convenient. The rooms were cozy and clean. Loved the onsen – very hot and relaxing. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety. Highly recommended for a peaceful, authentic experience.

Everything! The rooms are new, service from all the staff was great, booking of family onsen was offered right from checking in and always keen to assist us. We paid for dinner plans separately for both nights. Food was really great for the price. The public onsen area is pleasant and onsen is good too. Location is great. We really enjoyed our stay and we cannot agree more that this was the best ryokan out of the 3 we had stayed in.

“We will definitely be back”
It was an amazing stay.. Although there are very few shops and no restaurants near the hotel, we had such a relaxing time staying at this hotel. It sits right next to the river, the view was amazing, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
