“The best hotel in Hita”
I will never forget the wonderful experience I had at the hotel. The staff were kind, warm, and excellent at communication. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the hot spring was perfect for relieving travel fatigue. The location was also very convenient, with great restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. I would definitely love to stay here again when I visit Japan in the future. I sincerely thank all the staff at Hotel Kazahaya for their thoughtful care during my stay.

“Great location but missing basic comforts”
The location was great, in the old town with parking provided. The staff were friendly and helpful but the facilities were less than expected, uncomfortable bedding, terrible small pillow and tiny thin towels. We feel that overall it did not represent value for money.

“Go there, you will not be disappointed”
The owner, who is very friendly, as is all staff actually. In the middle of the charming old town of Hita, a relatively unknown gem. Make sure to book dinner, which is served in an adjacent restaurant, which belongs to the hotel. Amazing standard of cooking, Japanese with some international influences. The breakfast, served in the hotel, is Japanese and excellent as well. Our room had a private bath and shower. On top of that, there are two Onsen in the hotel as well, who can be reserved for private use by the hotel guests. Free parking right in front of the hotel.

Classy comfortable room, warm in the winter. The cozy reading room of the hotel was a plus. Very friendly staff. Outstanding meals, way above the average food usually served in ryokans. Highly recommended hotel.

“A lovely stay in Hita”
Excellent location, lovely rooms and amenities, and a fantastic breakfast. Mao was super helpful and welcoming. Will definitely recommend to everyone!
