Quiet and relaxing place to visit. But good for only a night. The hotel provides good shuttle service to and fro from hita station.

“Beautiful and Peaceful!”
Amazing room with great staff who are very helpful. You have to pay cash a lot and they called me a taxi many times, as well as a free shuttle service to the staton at the end of my trip. The room was large and spacious and absolutely beautiful - the view was amazing! Although and old and dated place, it was still extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also good had a very vast majority of choices

My package comes with dinner meal set. This set is traditional Japanese Kaiseki meal set and is out of my expectation. Don't miss it. The bathroom is not inside the room, however, you should try the comfortable indoor and outdoor public onsen. I shared a precious moment with my son there.

Pleasantly surprised by the Kaiseki dinner. Everything was so good. Location is fantastic and there are Muji, ABC Mart, Daiso and a supermarket 5 mins drive away.

“An opportunity to unwind and enjoy a more traditional side of Japan”
We knew we wanted to stay in Hita but with a car, thought parking may be an issue. Staying at Hita Onsen meant there was plenty of parking. The hotel is a type of resort, which includes access to the onsen waters, traditional Japanese pyjamas as well as breakfast. Our room was very large by Japanese standards, with a view of the river. The staff were very polite and friendly. There is a large Aeon supermarket a couple of hundred metres away, which is great way to stock up on snacks and as well as fresh sushi and chicken for lunch or dinner options. The onsen was quite busy, even though we stayed out of season but we enjoyed the overall experience. Note that breakfast is Japanese buffet style - no really western options to speak of but it is all fresh and there's an enormous selection, including a variety of dishes that have been steamed in the natural hot spring water.

“Relax with hot spring”
The water quality of the hot springs and open-air baths are excellent, making it a great place for travelers looking to relax. Aeon mall and Starbucks are conveniently located within a 10-minute walk.
