Nice location by the river with easy access to the riverside walking path. The bed was clean and comfortable and the room large.

I absolutely loved the location of this hotel! Free parking. My Japanese-Western style room was incredibly spacious and offered a stunning river view, which made watching the sunset a highlight of the trip. Although the hotel is on the smaller side, the environment is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace; the hotel provides free coffee and tea in the lobby, so it was lovely to grab a cup and relax outside. The only downside was that the foot bath (ashiyu) was under maintenance and unavailable during my stay, which was a pity. Otherwise, a wonderful experience!

From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional, from parking our car to being offered a time to use the private onsen, nothing was missing, the room was perfect with an area with a sofa to sit by the windows and look at the amazing view over the lake.

The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the river. The hotel owner had good English and very friend. He chatted to us about working for a couple of years in Ireland (our home country) a number of years ago and offered to drive us to the Attack on Titan museum!

“Beautiful quiet river relaxing place”

Lovely peaceful location on the river. Quiet location, so not much around in the way of shops, restaurants, coffee shops ect. But we had been travelling for a while so we were happy just to rest, looking at the view from a lovely deep bath. The staff were lovely and the breakfast has to be one of the best experiences of our trip. Thank you to the amazing ladies who made and served the Japanese breakfast in true Japanese style.

Excellent mountain & river view from room. Very friendly staff especially those in front desk. Abundant dinner & breakfast (especially for first night) but it's a bit rush ( the meal finish in 1 hour).

“Stunning view and room, and the best hospitality ever”

I think it was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to. The room had a stunning view to the river, the living room tatami felt like a movie scenario, there was a bathtub with a stunning view, an air purifier, and even a massage chair in the room. But the number 1 highlight for me was the incredible way we were treated by the staff and most of all by the hotel owner. We really felt like VIP guests. He saw we were going to visit Attack on Titan remote locations, and offered to bring us by car. We had a great time talking during the tour, with the maximum comfort. He was super patient to wait for us to leave the museums, shared tips of the city, took pictures of us… It was a magical experience! I’ll never forget that. I asked how we could thank him, but he didn’t accept anything. Also, on the first night, one of the staff employees also offered to bring us to a cafe of our choice when we arrived, since it was raining a lot. Next time I’ll definitely stay there again and also recommend to friends.

Very nice staff. Large room. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The set meals taste very good and of right portion. Futon are super comfortable and had a very good night of sleep. Nice view of river from the room.

“Lovely stay, wish I'd had more time to explore”

Beautiful river views, room was not a traditional Japanese one but still got lovely tatami and shoji screens. Loved the onsen upstairs..the free bike rental, the lovely staff..only stayed one night, wish it had been longer.

Staff is really kind, and the owner is a really cool person. Also, the onsen is great for relaxing. Had a great time, and got know many interesting places near the city. Do not hesitate to ask for sightseeing recomendations, I got lucky and they took me to see a few. Trully grateful for the whole experience, 5 stars.
