Overview
This harbour side hotel is just 300 metres from Hirtshals Train Station, the Norwegian ferry terminal and a sandy beach. It offers marina and sea views, plus free Wi-Fi and private parking. The simple rooms at Hotel Hirtshals have a TV and a private bathroom. All offer views of Tannis Bay or the Skagerrak Strait. Dating back to 1769, Hirtshals Kro is the hotel’s traditional restaurant and pub. During summer, guests can eat on the terrace and enjoy views of the busy marina. Hirtshals Hotel is 3 minutes’ drive from the Bunker Museum, a collection of excavated World War II-era defences.

Very helpful member of staff at the reception desk. Great location ready for ferry to Norway next morning. Early breakfast from 6:30. Very comfortable bed and room with harbour view.

Location is great, in the center of Hirtshals with a view of the ferry terminal and the harbor. There was some confusion as we arranged the stay some 15 minutes in advance, but that was cleared up quickly. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom good. Parking in front of the hotel and free for guests (need a ticket from the hotel).
