A little log cabin on the hillside, in a valley near Nuremberg that feels remote but is easy to reach. The place is well set up, practical but nice furniture, excellent kitchen amenities. Pets are allowed and the owners took care to provide for the needs of little children. A good place if you want to relax for a few days. Bonus point: 20 minutes uphill walk behind the house takes you to Germany's two oldest Via Ferrata, so if you are into climbing, this is a good place for a short stay.
