Opened in June 2017, Hiroshima Hostel EN is a hostel combined with an on-site restaurant. Located in the centre of Hiroshima, the property is a 3-minute walk away from JR Yokogawa Station, while JR Hiroshima Station is 2 stops away via train. Guests can sample various dished made with locally acquired ingredients, accompanied by locally brewed sake rice wine and beer. A complimentary welcome drink is provided, per person per night. The property can offer a guided tour to explore some parts of Hiroshima prefecture. There is a shared lounge at the property where guests can interact and socialise with other guests. The Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park are both a 20-minute walk alongside the river from Hiroshima Hostel EN. The nearest airport is Hiroshima airport, approximately an hour away on the train and limousine bus.

“Overpriced hostel but lovely staff!”

The staff is really friendly and there is an izakaya and kind of a lounge downstairs, so it's nice to meet people or eat something. It's reaaaally close to the station and in a pretty walkable aeria. everything is close by.

“A comfortable hostel near the centre with a cute little terrace area”
The location is pretty central and the staff is really nice. The best thing was the chairs and table in front of the cafe, as it is very hard to find a place with a terrace or balcony in Japan, it was nice to finally be able to sit outside.

It was a bed, or rather a futon for one night. 3 futons in a room with not a lot of space to spare. The bar downstairs had drinks and food. Simple, cheap, super basic and probably more suited to younger end travellers.
