Overview
Set in central Hiroshima city, Poptone has a shared lounge. Hiroshima Station is 10 minutes by tram. Free WiFi is available in all areas. This guest house is entirely non-smoking and has a shared shower. Toiletries are available at an additional fee. Towels can be rented at the front desk. At the lobby, there is a refrigerator, microwave and electric kettle. Atomic Bomb Dome is 15 minutes on foot through an arcade.

A very good hostel, everything was good. Staff were lovely, beds were comfy and spacious and location was perfect. Very good value for money.

We had a lovely time! - 10 minute walk from main shopping area. - Has a kettle, microwave, reheating oven/toaster, and small fridge as a 'kitchen', which was exceptionally useful. - Nice beds with decent curtains. - Overall clean. - Remote check-in, so didn't see any staff, but it was smooth and worked well. - Space both inside and outside the room where you could store your bags.

The place is well located, close to the nightlife areas. You can rent a towel for 100 yen, and you can leave your luggage before check-in. It's cheap.

Very comfortable beds in a very good location only a 15 minute walk to the atomic bomb done and museum and 10/15 min walk to the Hiroshima station as well.

No attendant. No one to greet you. I had no idea that the instructions would be sent to my email. No direct communication. Sterile. Uninviting. No one addressed your email concerns.

We had an issue with another guest that was unable to be resolved independently and the response we had from the staff was exceptional in helping to sort everything out for us. Cannot recommend them enough.

Location was good and the property was clean, I like that there were luggage storage racks and privacy curtains. There is also a separate toilet for ladies only. I can’t comment on what the staff were like as I didn’t meet any but check in was easy enough. There are information leaflets and posters for entertainment in the area and also a guide on how to get to Miyajima which I found very useful.
