“Comfy, well-priced hotel with a great buffet dinner.”

Dinner buffet was excellent value. As a gluten-intolerant person it helped that all food allergens were labelled for every dish. Much-reduced number of options but still enough and I felt confident in what I was eating. My husband had the best tart Tatin at the downstairs cafe.

The location of the property is a big plus. Very close to the station and main market though a bit far from hirosaki park but we rented bicycle which was again located just outside the station so worked well. 7/11 is just outside the hotel. The view from the hotel room was just outstanding. The only issue with this property was facility like swimming pools were costing additionally and needed advance booking but the cost was again affordable.

Great location right by the station, great to have a konbini literally downstairs, outside the reception. View to Mount Iwaki from the room was a great bonus. Staff was helpful and attentive.

“An excellent stay for a one night trip”

We had a quick one night stay at the Art Hotel and were very comfortable. It was a small room (expected) and had everything we need for a quick stay for two. The room was a little dated but everything was very functional and clean. The staff were easy to communicate with and very friendly.

We stayed 4 nights in Jan 2026 while exploring Aomori and Owani ski fields as well as Hirosaki city. For a big business hotel (which is all there seems to be in Hirosaki) it’s a good find -Decent sized room (Deluxe Double) -Large bathroom with great shower and bath -Very good value -Comfortable beds -Very close parking (paid and uncovered) -Nice view over city to Owani -Could open the window and turn off central heating (essential in Japan winter as too hot internally) -Great location near train station and lots of malls -Lots of eating options nearby (check out Tomato) -7/11 in building - Gym in building (paid) didn’t use it as to sore -Good laundry facilities -Checkin staff was very friendly
