Hiriketiya beach is in the vicinity. The host was very helpful in making our stay a wonderful one. He arranged us a scooty for rent. Gave tips about the locations we were planning to visit.

“Very basic and bang average”

We loved how close Tehan’s was from the main town & the beach yet was still out of the hustle and bustle. It also felt very homely. Tehan was lovely and easy to communicate with. Would also help us with anything we needed

Homestay with a sea view, beautiful landscape, 200 m from the Hiriketiya bay. Quiet street, yet everthing is near. Run by a small helpful family with couple of relaxed dogs.

Me and my boyfriend were very sick when we were here and they were kind enough to give us water and medicine and take us to the hospital ! So i very recommend everyone stay here. The location is great about 5 min walk to the beach but still in the peace and quiet. We loved the friendly dogs they have as well. For the price you pay it is very good :)

It doesn’t cost 30$ per night for what it is… Max 18-20$ and just because of the A/C… but that’s it. The room is small and a bit old:( The location of the house is far from the center of Hiri even tho they have a tuk-tuk to drive you wherever. Depending if you like being in the center or a bit more quite and far. We didn’t mind about this. But it’s a BEAUTIFUL spot tho! The garden and the outside of the house is so nice! It’s in a quiter area. And the lady is so lovely too :)
