“Relaxing stay in a beautiful location”

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming – they organized scooter hire for us in just 15 minutes and the laundry service was quick and reliable. Breakfast was a real highlight: it changed every morning with tasty local options, and the fresh fruit juices were perfect after surfing. We loved trying different Sri Lankan flavors each day. The location is great – a peaceful retreat away from the main crowds, but still easy to get around with the scooter we rented. Hiriketiya Beach (Hiri) is ideal for beginners like us: mellow waves, sandy bottom, and perfect for building confidence. We stayed just the right amount of time – 3 nights felt spot-on; any longer and we might have felt a bit bored. Only downside is how crowded the surf spot gets, but that’s common here. Overall, highly recommend for beginner surfers wanting a relaxed, friendly vibe!

Beautiful peaceful guest house . Great location backing onto the water . V close to beautiful Blue Beach . Very lovely staff , quiet peace and beauty - peacocks and monkeys and the sea - that’s all you hear . Little kitchen with a kettle and fridge you can use . Delicious varied breakfast - stayed 3 nights and could stay longer . Would defo return here .

We had a very good time in Hiriketiya. This property is a nice location - it is 15 minute walk from the beach but a nice walk during the day time. At night you can get a tuk tuk easily if it is dark. The host is great, he helped us with transfer to our next location and the breakfast was really good.

“Basic room but great stay”

Great value for money. Amazing garden, hammocks etc - sit down on the rocks at the end and it's beautiful, you won't get this view or peaceful stay closer to hiri town. Location is perfect, easy ten min walk into town and closer to blue beach. Great breakfast every day. Avisha was great. Helped organise laundry, a driver and advice on anything we wanted.

Clean room, friendly staff who was very welcoming and helpful! Beautiful property right by the water, could hear the waves crashing from the room which was so peaceful.

The views the peace , the garden, close to two beautiful beaches. And a mosquito net ! Also great it has a fan as well (next to an ac) as I do not like to sleep.with an ac on.

Very beautiful location in a secluded spot right on the ocean shore, where you can watch both the sunrise and the sunset. The owner is a young and kind person who quickly organizes anything you ask for. Breakfast is different every morning, so the food never gets repetitive. Thank you very much! Big recommendations!

“Worth the money! Great place to stay around Hirikediya”

Amazing view from the garden. Location is further away from center but at a walkable distance from Hiriketiya and the blue beach. Avisha was very nice and attentive during our stay. We enjoyed our breakfast both days. We slept well with no noise.

“Magical place!”

We absolutely loved our stay at this magical place. There is such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, you can simply sit at the hotel, watch the sunset, and enjoy the dreamy views. The location is a bit secluded and it can feel a little dark at night, but putting that aside, it’s less than a 10-minute walk to Blue Beach (a truly beautiful beach), and you can also walk to Hirikitiya beach in under 20 minutes. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We would also like to make a special mention of the man who takes care of the hotel, he couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. Without a doubt, if we come back, we will stay here again! ❤️

The private cliff beach was beautiful. Breakfast was divine. Avisa the owner was very helpful. Gentle stroll to Hiri or Nilwella beaches!

“Comfortable room only a short walk to breathtaking views!”

Awesome location in a quiet area only a short walk from the main beach. The room was spacious and well maintained and the hosts were extremely accommodating. Breakfast each morning was delicious, they provided us with a scooter to rent even letting us go slightly over our rental time and they organised a well priced car to take us to our next destination. We loved it here!

Avisha and family are lovely and provide a Greta breakfast each morning. Location is amazing, private garden and beach access and the constant sound of waves breaking was very relaxing.

This place is a hidden gem! The family running it went out of their way, multiple times, to help me out with various pickles I found myself in. The location is fabulous, the included Sri Lankan breakfast delicious, the setting is gorgeous, and price has to be tough to beat!

The owner Ranjith and the guy who is managing Avisha were exceptionally helpful. They promptly attended to a fan which stopped functioning.
