We had an amazing stay in this beautiful place. The location is truly incredible, just a two-minute walk to the beach! This was definitely our favorite part, as you can wake up in the morning and head straight to the ocean. It really made the whole experience unforgettable. Romain, who manages the property was great. He welcomed us warmly on our first evening. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly helpful and always available whenever we needed advice or assistance. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. It has a true jungle vibe, so you need to enjoy being surrounded by nature (and monkeys!). We personally loved it!!!

“Perfect place to stay in Hiriketiya”

Everything! Romain was a perfect host and he has a lovely place in a perfect setting that is literally 2 minutes walk to the beach. The bed slept very well and the shower was also really good. The places gives off a very tranquil and natural feel. We also appreciated the welcome drinks and a dedicated Whatsapp group with loads of info, with Romain quick to respond to any of our questions. A definite 10 out of 10!

Great location a short walk from the beach. Clean, spacious accommodation with fabulous staff. Romain is extremely well connected locally and can make just about anything possible. You wont be disappointed.

This is a perfectly located, lovely property, super close to Hiriketiya beach. The spacious room has a balcony, a really handy kitchenette, both a fan and AC, and your own filtered water tank. It was fab to have our room cleaned every day, and Le Cabanon’s TukTuk driver Pryantha was so lovely!

“Stylish stay with outstanding hosts”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Cabanon and couldn’t recommend it more. Our hosts, Cassandre and Romain, were exceptional, incredibly kind, responsive, and always available. The location of Le Cabanon is unbeatable, right next to the bay, and the apartment itself is stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. A big highlight for us was the option of daily cleaning. The lovely lady who takes care of the apartment was extremely thorough, every time we came back, the place was perfectly refreshed, beautifully organized, and smelled wonderful thanks to a subtle incense. It truly elevated our stay. Romain and Cassandre go above and beyond with recommendations and help with anything you might need. At one point, we really wanted to visit a restaurant that was fully booked, and they went out of their way to secure us a table. That level of care and dedication says everything. At the end of our stay, they also helped us organize our transport back to Colombo. The driver they work with was by far the best we met during our trip, doubling as an excellent guide and making the journey a real pleasure.

Absolutely beautiful little spot , it looks fantastic in the photos but it looks even better in real life- we spent 5 days here and the location is fantastic, 30 second walk from the beach and then about 5-10 minute into town. It is located very close to some great places to eat- and right next to a great beach club called ruin which is where we spent most days- ruin is one minute walk from the property. We spent 19 days in Sri Lanka and was by far the nicest place we stayed- owners are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely be a place I would love to come back to. Nothing about the place can be faulted- perfect place to stay. Couldn’t recommend enough.

“Hospitality, kindness and a warm welcome wins every time for me”

Definitely the hospitality of the hosts Cassandre and Romain… thought and attention has gone into having everything you need. Things like a beach towel, rechargeable torch, kitchen utensils, little extras make a difference. Romain knocked on my door (female traveling solo) at 11 pm at night, announcing he was checking to see I was ok as the town had a black out. Romain was able to switch the fuse and restore power. He was worried his guests were in darkness .. such a lovely gesture. Be sure to visit Cassandre’s concept store for some great fashion!

Gorgeous apartment less than 30 seconds from Hiriketiya beach. Very comfortable with great hosts who were attentive and extremely helpful.

Loved everything about this, the room and grounds are beautiful and location couldn’t be better, just a 2 minute walk and you’re on the beach. Romain and Cassandre made us feel very welcome and at home. Loved it!
