Good location in a quiet side street, less than 10 minute walk to beaches. Generous sized ground floor apartment with basic decor. Good written instructions for local services and owner available on Whatapp answered very quickly.

We stayed in the upstairs villa. The view was great and the room was light, bright and clean with good air con. Balcony was lovely although the monkeys which jump onto it made it difficult to use for any drinks and food. Beds comfortable. Fridge in room, good shower and there were good quality beach and shower towels provided. Fantastic location between Hiriketiya and Dickwella beach.

Close enough to town centre but quiet! The views from our room (top floor) were amazing!! But the most special part was the host, he looked after ALL of our needs. He organised the safari trip, drove us to our next destination. Everything. The best.

Halfway between the 2 beaches, a few nice resteraunts near to the apartment

We were five girls who booked Kumudu Holiday Home for the weekend, and it was absolutely perfect — definitely not the last time we’ll stay here! The house is exactly as described and just like in the pictures. We didn’t miss a single thing during our four days; they had prepared everything for us — towels, soap, and all the essentials. There’s even hot water, which was a big plus! The owner is incredibly kind and easy to communicate with, and we only had to pay once we arrived at the house, which felt very fair and relaxed. We even decided to stay an extra night because we loved it so much! But the best part is the location — just a 2-minute walk and you’re right on the beach and in the center of Hiriketiya. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! 🌴✨

Great spacious room that was very clean and has all the facilities you need. Good location, walking distance to everything. Lovely staff, Gihan was very responsive and happy to help. We loved watching the monkeys in the morning too.

Exceptional room with kitchenette and plenty of space. Great location for the western side of Hiriketiya bay. Very new, very clean and great value for money. The hosts were really great at arranging tuk tuks and taxis for us.

These are convenient apartments with a beautiful view of the surroundings. A large bed, air conditioning, a shower — everything you need. I didn’t use the kitchen, so I can’t comment on that. The apartment is located on a hill about 500 meters from the nearest beach, and there’s also access nearby to a scenic rocky shoreline. There are plenty of restaurants around to suit any taste. The host was friendly. For an additional fee, they washed our clothes.
