“Great stay at Mahi Surf:)”
The location is really good as it’s just couple of minutes from the beach it’s quiet and surrounded by nature. We had a room on the second level that had the option to have the AC for a bit more $, we used the fans and it was very pleasant, at night we would leave the windows open and sleep with the breeze and sounds of nature. The bed was really comfortable and a solid mosquito net (not even 1 bite), it’s got a private fresh brand new bathroom next to the room. There was another room in the second level but we never even heard the other guests, and a cute room in the first floor with a small gated garden. The whole house was very clean and fresh and just next to it you have the best massage in Sri Lanka (ask for Nilanthi). Last but not least the host was a legend, super friendly and very helpful, always greeting you with a big smile and a great attitude.

My room was very comfortable and I had enough space to put all my things. The owners were really friendly and very supportive. The location is just 5 minutes away from the beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I enjoyed my stay and extended it for two more days.

“Short walk from the beach”
Great location just a couple minutes from the beach, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby but out of the main street making it a quiet stay. The property is surrounded by nature so we would wake up to monkeys swinging in the trees outside our window.

Green and peaceful place, with lots of wildlife around and everything you need just a couple of minutes walk away. I stayed there for 10 days, Suranga was super helpful, arranged a better Internet, a lift to the bicycle rental and bus station when needed. Highly recommended to have a relaxing time in quite a busy town of Hiriketiya.
