The room was immaculate and had everything I could need, and more. Plus Rose and Charlie were amazing.

Rose and Charlie are two fantastic hosts. My girlfriend and I loved their B&B and we would certainly come back in case we will visit Normandy again. The house is neat and the rooms are just lovely, with a typical english charme and a nice view on the beach and sea. From the little balcony you can even recognise the little silhouette of Le Mont Saint-Michel on the horizon. We loved the details of the furniture, which makes you think you are sailing the ocean in a wooden boat - with a very comfortable bed.

Everything, instantly feeling at home, very welcoming, present, social hosts. The breakfast ( English) was a delight. We will surely come back. Thank you

If you want to meet wonderful people, Charley and Rose must be known. Rose de la mer is the best place.

This is a typical English B&B run by a retired English couple in France. Complete with a British flag outside, full English cooked breakfast in the morning (with French sausages and bacon, thanks to Brexit), with English tea, and a drinks stand with whiskey and gin in the living room. All that is missing is some scones and clotted cream, and a picture of the Queen (or King now) above the fire place. The property is roughly halfway between Mont St Michell and St Malo as well as a few other local attractions, and as such could be used as a base for day trip in the nearby area. It is right on the beach The owners are super nice and friendly, and even allowed us to check in early on our way to St Malo.

For us, the best B&B in the Brittany. Friendly hosts, a beautiful room that was thought through down to the smallest detail. Fridge, microwave, crockery, capsule machine for fresh coffee. And the choice between French and English breakfast. We felt very comfortable and slept very well. An absolute recommendation!

“Cosy accomodation on the Sea side”

As soon as we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Charles and his delightful granddaughter Penelope. Our spacious lodge was cosy and very clean. The bathroom was large, with all the comforts. Right on the seafront, in Hirel, not far from Cancale and its delicious oysters! There are many places to eat on the coastal road. The morning breakfast (a choice between continental and English), was complete and enough for the hungriest. We had a great time, we hope to be able to return soon. Thank you Charles & Rose!

Rose and Charlie made us very welcome immediately on arrival and informed us on everything we needed to know to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was perfectly located on the beach and within easy reach of St Malo and Mont St Michel which we visited. The room was well equipped and we had the option of a cooked or continental breakfast which was a nice touch. Great hosts who are justifiably proud of their hotel.

All accommodation owners should visit it to learn what it's like to have a guest who wants for nothing! Everything works, we have everything! Wonderful panoramic view of the sea. A choice of delicious English or French breakfast. Excellent restaurants nearby to sample the truly fresh seafood!
