“A charming hotel, kindest people and beautiful location”
The location is beautiful and in a beautiful town. The staff are so kind and friendly. Alex the property manager is so friendly and sweet. The rooms are big and comfortable and all rooms have the beautiful view. The breakfast is well rounded as well. There is a farm right opposite where you can get fresh cows milk. Great restaurants in the town as well - we tied the Italian, German and the greek restaurants there.

“Hotel did not meet our expectation from pictures on booking. Com”
Sadly the hotel is overpriced and not as pictures looked. Steep steps to entrance to be met with a watering bucket and empty crates for bottles in the entrance. A digital key code with no staff. Don’t forget the code or locked out. This in our opinion is very impersonal and did not suit our needs. Phone leaflets if you desire to query anything but again not for us. Hotel had a smell but most likely as animal friendly and we love animals but not to the degree of smell. Very basic room and coffee machine did not work. Bathroom seems to have been recently renovated so that was good. Hairdryer in bathroom, but of low standard. Room was far too warm. Breakfast was ok. Overall some further personal touches would be good and some investment in hotel/ rooms needed to pay the current price.

“Amazing location in the black forest”
The Hotel located in amazing location, in the middle of the forest with the best view the can be. Alex the manager and the team are very kind, helpful and available for any request or issue. Breakfast was very good!

A lovely view from the window. 15 minute downhill walk to the village for dinner either by road or one of the many footpaths surrounding the village. Quiet and peaceful.
