Surrounded by the Black Forest countryside, this small hotel offers breakfast buffets, a large garden perfect for relaxing, and free WiFi. It lies in the centre of Hinterzarten, a 5-minute walk from Hinterzarten Train Station. Each room at the Hotel am Bach offers cable TV and views of the pretty hotel garden. Your bathroom includes a shower, and a hairdryer can be requested at the reception. Breakfast is available in the cosy breakfast room.A vegetarian, vegan breakfast made from mostly organic, regional products is provided. Hotel am Bach lies directly on a cross-country skiing track. The surrounding Hochschwarzwald (Upper Black Forest) is ideal for hiking, and various trails run directly by the hotel. Within a 10-minute drive are Lake Titisee and the Hochschwarzwald Golf Club. Freiburg is 30 minutes away by car.

“A really enjoyable stay!”
Hotel am Bach is a really nice boutique hotel, with a great atmosphere. The room was large, nicely decorated. There is a relaxing lounge with comfortable chairs, a great library and a piano (if you wish to entertain :-). The breakfast served is different, no run off the mill bread/ham/egg, but all this plus loads and loads of small dishes with homemade jams, herb butters, pastes, dressings etc. A treat. The entire decor is clearly aligned with the vision of the owner.

It was difficult to find a place in Hinterzarten. Hinterzarten is exceptional. Hotel am Bach location is easy to find however the view was nothing to write home about. The property has excellent WiFi. The speed is great. The breakfast is also decent with many different jams and butter options. Due to Corona the buffet wasn't there but I'd have loved to have buffet there. It was very awkward for me to order things I wanted to have. The decor of the place is super. Owner's amazing taste shows in every corner of the hotel.
