We loved everything! The host, Moni, was fantastic, very kind, and helpful. The location of Hinterhermsdorf we have enjoyed as well. It was the first time in the region, and in hindsight, we are happy that we have chosen the location. Plenty of hiking routes start there, easy access to the Czech Republic, and there is a regular bus service (included in the kur taxe) which brings you to all the sights in the region. We didn't need to use the car for most of our stay. There are decent shopping options 15 minutes by car (decent supermarkets, hiking supplies and a few restaurants) In short walking distance there is one great restaurant, Wanderstüble, and another one 30 minutes walk called Kräuterbaude. Please avoid Gasthof zur Hoffnujg the food os terrible. The location of the apartment is also great, 300 meters away from the village shop (fresh bread and plant based milk available) and, as mentioned, plenty of hiking options directly from the apartment. The facilities were excellent, super clean, and everything that is needed. The bed was comfy, and the bedroom had a decent size. The kitchen and living area were perfectly equipped. The balcony is small and big enough to enjoy the sunshine. The sauna area is also super. I'd recommend this apartment to everyone who is looking for a quite hiking holiday in a small village.

If you want a taste of old-world, rural Germany, come here. The cutest German town ever next to a great hiking national park.
