“Beautiful room with lovely staff”

We had a beautiful room.

The staff was very accomodating and kind. Even though nobody really spoke any English, they went out of their way to still be able to communicate about the facility, food, etc.. The room was very jice with a private bath. Ths outside bath was also nice, and the garden through which you walked to it was beautiful. The dinner was very good and elaborately presented. The included shuttle bus service was a very big plus. The location is somewhat remote but very beautiful and serene (do bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper though, due to all the animal/forest sounds at night).

Staff were lovely and did everything they could ot make this a great stay. Food was amazing... really special.... each meal felt like a banquet, and breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend it, and hats off to the chef and staff.

Staff were very attentive and overall service was fantastic. Our room was beautiful and we had our own onsen. Both dinner and breakfast were incredible.

This was a very special place with charm. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed Ryokan experience. I knew that dinner and breakfast were included in our booking but I did not expect such a wonderful tasty feast of traditional dishes. They asked us about dietary requirements a few days before our stay and they catered to this really well. I will remember this stay for a long time.

Onsen and Foods were truly great. The staff was very nice and welcoming.

Excellent experience! Though a bit distant from Himeji station, the shuttle service provided by the hotel eased the inconvenience of transportation. Staff were kind, food was delicious and representative of Japanese gourmet. The environment was magnificently featured with natural woods and the building itself marks the history and heritance well.

Heartwarming unforgettable service quality!! - The free shuttle bus to and from the station was super useful. - The half board dinner was such a memorable experience to do with the family. We stayed 2 nights and both dinners were fantastic and highly generous in terms of quantity, and superb quality. We congratulate the chef Hiromichi Inoue for the exquisite presentation and choice. - The service was so attentive and kind. The waiters didn’t speak English but this caused no problem as they had these fantastic translators, making interactions easy. - Most guests were Japanese which I hadn’t yet experienced in other hotels during my Japan trip, which was great.
