Close to Himeji Station and various izakayas for late dinner. Included free buffet breakfast. Clean, secure and friendly staff. Good size room for solo traveller. Provided luggage storage before checkin.

Located right next to the Sanyo-Himeji station and a short walk from JR Himeji station, and the castle is also within walking distance. I received a free upgrade to a larger twin room which was a pleasant surprise - the room was also on a high floor which gave a nice view. It was fairly quiet, though sometimes noise from the nearby trains could be heard in the room. Breakfast is free and while not amazing, it does the job.
